Sketching a bird a day, one at a time
My name is Pica. I live in Davis, California and I have another blog, Feathers of Hope, which I keep with my partner Numenius, and which isn't primarily about sketching birds. My ABA list stands at 697 702, which seems a fine time to start sketching birds instead of spending a fortune on a camera and lenses to start photographing them all... Only corvids here ravens – suppose I shouldn’t complain… There’s a wonderful book, Crow Country I’ve just been reading; but that’s mainly about rooks which I guess don’t figure in California. Love the drawings; don’t quite connect to the baseball but then I wouldn’t, would I? Cricket mind…
