The Somerville Gates

Residents of the Boston area who are unable to make it down to New York to view Christo’s The Gates should know that there is an art installation of similar note closer to home. And this time there’s a cat.

  1. I was so delighted to see
    The Somerville Gates!!!!

    When I got home from the City
    with my two swatches
    I thought about painting some toothpicks
    and making a couple of gates
    of my own

    but two just didn’t seem enough
    somehow

    obviously this is an example
    of great minds
    with the same idea

  2. It’s funny you mentioned toothpicks. Somebody else aparently beat you to the punch “The Toothpick Gates”. And you’re right, he made more than just two. Enjoy!
