Digital to Analog

Not finding such a thing as the perfect calendar/planner system to buy, I may be closer to designing my own: while perusing a fountain pen forum, Numenius found a site where you can put together your own paper PDA. The most interesting idea, I think, is a stack of index cards you carry around with a binder clip, called a Hipster PDA . Watercolor paper, calendar, cards for projects: what more do you need? Plus you can choose what kind of paper to write on rather than having it chosen for you.

  1. Pica, I am far too untidy for the hipster PDA. I have tried it at work to record my statistics/phone calls/occasions of service but end up resorting to single bits of paper. I will wait to hear how it works for you!

  2. I used a DayRunner forever, small version but still bulky. Last year I picked up a small, flat Mead at-a-glance monthly/weekly calendar. Not ideal, but the size is good for bringing along on trips. Hmm… it’s heading into the end of the year, I should look into alternatives. Unfortunately I don’t think I have the time to get too creative, though I love that hipster pda idea!
